Saif’s item number AND Kareena’s ‘mujra’

They may be a pair in actual life, but on the film screen Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are on to clash over item numbers in the film “Agent Vinod”. Who does it superior?
If Kareena’s mujra song, “Dil mera muft ka”, will be overshadow by Saif’s “Pyaar ki pungi”. The last is described as a number that catch your notice in the first 20 seconds because of its humorist, cheeky notes and free path.

When  IANS ask about the song, Saif told: “There is a chain in the film where Agent Vinod is being watched by CCTV cameras…and he is behave in a positive way, so we thought we should do an addition to that and we did the song.”

Collected by Pritam Chakraborty, “Pyaar ki pungi” has been writing by lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya and choreograph by Jasmin Oza. Mika has sung it.

Since “Agent Vinod”, a sleek spy thriller is complete of actions and thrill, director Sriram Raghavan didn’t give much notice to the songs as it can move people’s attention and the soul of the movie.

So “Pyaar ki pungi” has been particularly shaped and used as a promotional number. The song plays in the background during one of the scenes in “Agent Vinod” with a punch line saying, “Catch the other side of (Majnu) Vinod.”
